Richard J. Neves honored with emeritus status


Richard J. Neves of Blacksburg, professor of fisheries and wildlife science in the College of Natural Resources at Virginia Tech, was conferred the “professor emeritus” title by the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors during the board’s quarterly meeting on Nov. 3.

Virginia Tech hosts Society of Environmental Journalists conference Oct. 15-19

Splinter the Supercar comes to Virginia Tech for Wood Week 2008


Splinter the Supercar, a unique car constructed of wood and recently featured on the Discovery Channel’s Future Cars, will be showcased at Virginia Tech on Thursday, Sept. 18, in celebration of Wood Week 2008.
