James A. Burger of Blacksburg, the Garland Gray Professor of Forestry in the College of Natural Resources at Virginia Tech, was conferred the “professor emeritus” title by the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors during the board’s quarterly meeting on Nov. 3.

Dance of Nations kicks off International Education Week, Nov. 17-21

University Cycling Team presents Tech Cross

Relay for Life celebrates success

In April 2008, Virginia Tech Relay For Life successfully fielded 303 teams with over 3,100 participants, ultimately raising over $294,000 for the American Cancer Society. Virginia Tech is currently ranked the number one university in terms of fundraising per capita with an enrollment of over 24,000 students.
