Virginia Tech football notes: DeChristopher ailing – roanoke.com

BLACKSBURG — So much for early-season harmony for Virginia Tech’s offensive line.

A line that broke preseason camp with its five starters solidly in place lasted only four snaps in last Saturday’s season-opening 27-22 loss to East Carolina before losing its newest piece, redshirt freshman right tackle Blake DeChristopher.

Macho, Perez Listed as ‘Probable’; Foster Addresses ‘D’

Good news. Victor “Macho” Harris is listed as “probable” for saturday’s game. Also, fullback Devin Perez is also back from a foot injury and listed as probably. For those that hadn’t heard, offensive right tackle Blake DeChristopher is out 2-4 weeks with a deep thigh bruise and a bruised kidney (ouch).
